Sometimes it can be difficult for our clients to understand the exact nature of a peer reviewer’s comments written in English. This may be because (i) the reviewer has used complex English sentences or idiomatic phrases, (ii) some of the handwritten edits made by the reviewer or journal editor are difficult to read, or (iii) because the reviewer is not a native English speaker him or herself and the English is not easily understandable.

Our author support service where we check the reviewer’s comment and explain it to you is designed to help you answer the comment accurately and completely.

For our repeat clients, in most cases we can offer this service free of charge. For first-time clients, we also try to help for free, but the service may carry a small fee if our team needs to spend some time cross-checking the comments with your paper or providing lengthy explanations. > > >
